FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Does it cost extra to drop the car off at a different location from
where we picked it up?
A: No. The vehicle can be delivered to one location and picked up from a totally different location at no additional charge.
Q: Are there any additional charges beside the price stated in the
confirmation email?
A: Once the car is confirmed, we send you a confirmation email which contains the final price. This price is not going to change, unless you purchase additional services or upgrades.
Q: Do you sell the Temporary License that is required to drive in Antigua.
A: Yes. The Antiguan government requires that you purchase a temporary license to drive here. We pre-purchase these licenses from the Antigua & Barbuda Transport Board and have them available at the time of the rental for your convenience at no additional charge. This avoids you having to go to a police station to purchase one. We will need to see your valid license from your country of residence and copy some information off of it onto the Temporary license to issue you the Temporary License. These licenses currently cost $20 US or $50 EC.
Q: Who is responsible if the vehicle gets damaged?
A: As in any country, a renter is responsible to bring the vehicle back in the same condition as it was rented or additional charges will apply. This is negated only by the terms and conditions of any OPTIONAL assurance that you may purchase as part of our LDW/CDW (Loss Damage Waiver/Collision Damage Waiver) agreement. Please read our "Terms & Conditions" for further details.
Q: Do I need additional Insurance?
A: We leave this decision to clients. It is usually based on your level of comfort with our roads and road systems. This is something you have to determine by talking to your car
insurance company or your credit card company. Some clients sign up for our LDW agreement, some clients rent with a credit card that they know will offer vehicle rental accident/loss coverage, some clients purchase additional travel insurance in their country which covers their rental vehicle while on vacation. Please note that you cannot double up. If you rent with a credit card that offers you coverage and still take our LDW in the event of an accident the credit card company will ask you if you took the LDW/CDW from the rental company. In most cases if you say “yes” they will not cover you and you cannot make any claims with them. Please know this.
Q: What is covered in the "Loss Damage Waiver"?
A: Please read our "Terms & Conditions" for further details.
